World No Tobacco Day

World No Tobacco Day is observed every year on 31st May throughout the world to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco use and promote policies that reduce tobacco consumption. In view of this, NSS volunteers of Him Academy Public School Hira Nagar presented a Nukkad Natak at bus stand Hamirpur. The occasion was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Sh. Bhagat Singh Thakur SP Hamirpur who was welcomed by Director Him Academy Er. Pankaj Lakhanpal and Principal #HAPS Hira Nagar Ms. Shashi Bala. Sh. Bhagat Singh Thakur not only praised the students but also motivated them by his speech. He also congratulated the students for bringing forth the idea of fighting the battle against tobacco through Nukkad Natak. He addressed the gathering with an expectation that everyone will surely join hands in this attempt to eradicate tobacco consumption. Let us all join our hands to fight the devil named tobacco.
