(SEVA) STUDENT EMPOWERMENT THROUGH VALUE IN ACTION 

No education is complete without value education as it transforms literacy into wisdom that is important for building a compassionate world. Him Academy Public School, Hira Nagar (Hamirpur) runs SEVA programme to ensure holistic development of its students since its origin. The programme is comprised of six core values RESPECT, KINDNESS, RESPONSIBILITY, INTEGRITY, RESILIENCE and CYBERWELLNESS in order to balance modern civilisation with traditional values.  Student Empowerment through Value in Action (SEVA) is one of the best innovative practices implemented in the school for transforming behaviour of learners.  Beside teaching these values to the students round the year, celebrating KINDNESS CHALLENGE month and KHARI KAMAI month are two major flagship programmes which are run every year in the school by involving all the stakeholders (parents, pupils, management and teachers) to create a value-based society, not by preaching but by practicing values.

SEVA programme of the school is well aligned with the recommendations of NEP 2020 to build better individuals for the wellbeing of humanity.
