It fills them with a sense of civic responsibility towards the humanity and fosters leadership qualities when they involve themselves in community services like cleanliness drives, forestation drive and conservation of nature and awareness programmes like literacy drive, health awareness campaign and collective living. In a bid to build future citizens equipped with skills and values, HAPS Hira Nagar, Hamirpur has NSS Wing in the school since May 1st 2014.The students on the roll of NSS Wing take part in various activities organized under the aegis of NSS from time to time provides them a platform to utilized their energy to work for the mankind, respond to any emergency and to contribute in nation building voluntarily.
